Craigowan Lodge is located on the Queens Balmoral estate in Aberdeenshire and shes predicted to stay there again this summer. After Prince Alberts death in 1861, Queen Victoria went into period of deep mourning and spent an increasing amount of time at Balmoral where she spent so many happy times with her beloved husband and far away from her Royal duties in London.
