She loved ice skating on the pond in Coreys. She went to nursing school and after graduation, on September 10, 1960, she married the love of her life Andrew LaFrance. Funeral arrangements are with the Frary Funeral Home. Shortly after leaving the Marine Corps, he met the love of his life, Evelyn Savard, and they eventually settled in Tupper Lake. Bill is survived by his children, Arthur C. Maroun of Rutland, VT., Camelia Maroun Sheridan of Lake Placid, and Sarah Maroun Geil (Kevin) of Vermontville, his grandchildren, Julia and Savannah Maroun, Sarah Mae Sheridan and Nadia Geil, his partner of over 30 years, Carol Fuller, his brother, Camil Jr. (JJ) Maroun, his uncle George Moses and numerous loving nieces and nephews and cousins who adored him and will carry his stories and passion for living forward.
