JICA International training courses in Japan

2017, 25 July – 11 August, President of Caucasus Youth Nexus Giorgi Azariashvili participated in Co-creation program for Central Asia and Caucasus countries small and medium enterprises development and promotion course, organized by JICA (Japanese international cooperation agency) in Obihiro, Japan.

Main topics of the program were to explore and enrich expertise in Japanese model of development for small and medium enterprises, exploring best practices of development of Japanese agriculture, moreover, participants visited City hall of Obihiro, where they had an opportunity to discuss local policies regarding the support of small and medium-sized business, additionally, local foundations and associations that support business in Tokachi region such as Community foundation Tokachi, The small and medium enterprise agency, Hokaido small and medium enterprise agency, Tokachi Pride and etc.

Furthermore, participants visited Obihiro University of Agriculture and Veterinary Medicine, where they had a lecture about importance of university affairs and involvement in development of the field, regarding the enacting standards of HACCP, ISO and FSSC.

Totally 22 participants attended the intensive program from Tajikistan, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Azerbaijan and Georgia. Participants offer their gratitude to Japanese government  and Japanese International Cooperation Agency for their hard work and dedication.
