Erasmus + Youth Exchange “Food 4Good”
project was organized by LUMEN in Trogir,
Croatia 7-14 th of September. lot of different actions, workshops, Baking and cooking
activities United 42 young people from Romania, Spain, Georgia, Croatia, Armenia, Turkey and
Ukraine.
Aim of the project was: To explore different cuisines of countries.
to explore the differences and similarities of different cultures via non formal
education tools – cooking.
Also:
- promoting a healthy lifestyle among the youth.
- developing a sense of responsibility for healthy living.
- raising participants' awareness and understanding of other cultures.
- Increase coking skills and ability to prepare healthy food.
Every day, participants were cooking for themselves, different, quick and healthy dishes
inspired by the different national cuisines. One of the results will also be common
recipe books with accent on using cooking as one of the methods of non-formal
education. During the project, participants organized a city game, which was a nice
opportunity to explore the city, Croatia, understand and learn interesting facts about the country, its history, and traditions.
