On the 11th of August we finished the training course “Sharing Stories, Building Bridges – Digital Storytelling For Promoting Dialogue”. 24 participants gathered together in Bakuriani to take part in a training course on digital storytelling. During these days, connecting, smiling, crying, everything came together to create amazing videos which told individual stories.
During one of the days we organized a screening for their digital stories, which turned out to be very emotional for all of us.
Our participants not only learned how to tell a personal story through creating a video, but they also learned how to open up in front of a group of people they have not met before. Therefore, besides professional skills, personal life lessons were developed as well. After this training course, our youth workers have acquired the necessary skills for promoting the methodology of digital storytelling in their own communities, helping their own people to grow.
On the last day we planned follow-up workshops, which will take place in Gori, Khashuri, Rustavi and Tbilisi. Thus, this project aims to help our young social activists to spread the knowledge acquired further.
