People around the world are celebrating ‘Rock Your Socks’ Day in honor of World Down Syndrome Day (WDSD)!

March 21 was declared World Down Syndrome Day by the United Nations General Assembly on December 19, 2011.

The initiative is part of the ”Lots of Socks” campaign begun by an organisation called Down Syndrome International, to encourage people to start a conversation about diversity, uniqueness, inclusion and acceptance.

To bring awareness, people across the world will be wearing crazy socks.
