On the 10-14th of December Caucasus youth nexus hosted fellow partners for the study visit, that was fifth activity under the framework of the Erasmus + KA2 project “One Step Ahead”. Four organizations are involved in the implementation of the project: “Youth Power” – Sweden, “INVENTO” – Moldova, “FUNDACJA AUTOKREACJA” – Poland and “Caucasus Youth Nexus” – Georgia.
“One Step Ahead” is 18 months long project, that aims to develop and promote social entrepreneurship in participant countries (Sweden, Georgia, Poland, Moldova). This is the fifth activity under the project that was preceded by the training in Poland, local fieldwork activities in four partner countries, seminar in Sweden and youth exchange in Georgia.
During the Study Visit we showed our partners how Social Entrepreneurship works in real life in Georgia. Also to share local experience, accumulated knowledge in the field and showing best practices. During the study Visit we visited five social enterprises in Tbilisi and regions, Techpark Georgia and Ilia State University where this year Social Entrepreneurship course was implemented for the first time.
The main aims of the project “One Step Ahead” are:
-Empowering youth workers and promoting social entrepreneurship.
-Creating and testing new ways of teaching Social Entrepreneurship; Creating innovative teaching methodologies, implementation and promotion in partner countries.
-Sharing best practices and experiences, between the organizations that are working in the same field.
-Creating recommendations for the law makers to help the sector develop.
