Youth exchange project in Telavi – “Vintage of Cultures”

2016, 9-18 October, MasterPeace Georgia, Caucasus Youth Nexus and Studenten Entwicklungsgesellschaft Österreich organized Erasmus + youth exchange program ”Vintage of Cultures”. Over 35 Participants represented from Austria, Germany, Croatia, Poland, Armenia, Ukraine and Georgia took part in various cultural and educational activities.
Under the program of Youth Exchange seven inter-cultural/inter-culinary evenings were held along with various types of cultural activities such as preparation of Churchkhela, group works about the intercultural dialogue, performances about national realities towards cultural understanding, two excursions in Kakheti region and visiting one of the most interesting Georgian festivals and harvesting the grapes ”RTVELI”.
Main topic of the youth exchange was promoting inter-cultural awareness, breaking the stereotypes and exchanging of thoughts and ideas about the culture, traditions and history. Moreover participants had opportunity to learn different languages through non-formal and working in the groups methods.
In the end of the project all the participants received youth pass certificates.
Youth Exchange was supported and financed by European Commission’s Austrian National Agency.
