Let’s Do It! World is a civic-led mass movement commenced in Estonia since 2008. Over 50,000 people stood united to clean up the entire country in just five hours. Since then, Let’s Do It! has spread this model—one country in one day—around the world. To date, 113 countries and over 16 million people have joined us to clean up illegal waste.
On September 8, 2018, World Cleanup Day, people in 150 countries from all over the world will stand up against the global trash problem and clean up the waste, making it the biggest positive civic action the world has seen. Imagine a powerful “green wave” starting from Japan, ending in Hawaii with hundreds of millions of people taking positive action together on the very same day.
Let’s Do It! has never been only about cleaning up waste. We also aim to unite the global community, raise awareness and implement true change to achieve our final goal– a clean and healthy planet.
In just seven years, Let’s Do It! has motivated over 16 million people worldwide to join together and clean up their countries.
Often, our most inspirational success stories come out of regions of the world filled with violence, corruption, extreme poverty, natural disasters and disease. These volunteers choose not to join the violence, but instead choose to make a positive difference in the cultures of their homelands and become part of the solution.
Let’s Do It! – Georgia is the project of ”Caucasus Youth Nexus”, which mainly aims to remind to society how important clean and green environment is for us and for our future generations is. Therefore we start civil campaign against trash pollution. Door of our organization is always open and volunteers who are willing to become part of this movement, who are willing to participate in various activities are more than welcome.
Our aim is to clean the environment and protect the nature from the pollution. In order to achieve this, we plan to include people from all parts of Georgia.
Join us and become volunteer for ”1 day 1 aim” activity , date of the activity is 18th of September, 2016.
